Earthworm protein peptide Description: Earthworm, also named Dew-worm, Rainworm, Angleworm, is a tube-shaped, segmented worm. It is also one of the traditional Chinese medicines.

The main components are various enzymes, amino acids (including eight essential amino acids in the human body, with the highest levels of glutamic acid and leucine), and rich proteins (up to 56%-66% of the total protein in earthworm dry bodies)  such as antibacterial proteins, lipid proteins and so on.

There are many reports on the microcirculatory research of Earthworm protein which is mostly used to develop and improve the microcirculation effect by now. In 2009, Earthworm protein was approved as a new resource food by the Ministry of Health.
